Welcome to BidHound (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using BidHound (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

  1. Overview

BidHound provides tools to help contractors find, research, and track federal contracting opportunities. You are responsible for how you use the information we provide.



  1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. By using the Service, you represent that the information you provide is accurate.



  1. Accounts

You are responsible for:
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity under your account
• Not sharing your account with others

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security risks.



  1. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:
• Use BidHound for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to access data you do not have permission for
• Interfere with or harm the Service
• Resell, redistribute, or copy SAM.gov data in violation of federal rules
• Scrape, extract, or download data in bulk in ways that violate SAM.gov or other APIs we use

We may restrict or disable access if misuse is detected.



  1. Data & Content

BidHound provides access to data from public government sources (e.g., SAM.gov).
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data.

You are solely responsible for decisions made based on information retrieved through BidHound.



  1. Payments & Subscriptions

If you purchase a paid plan:
• Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable
• Plans may be canceled at any time, but we do not prorate partial billing periods
• Failure to pay may result in suspension of your account

We may update pricing in the future, and will notify you of changes.



  1. Service Availability

We strive for continuous operation, but we do not guarantee:
• Uninterrupted access
• Error-free performance
• Compatibility with all devices or browsers

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.



  1. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates data from external sources (e.g., SAM.gov, APEX Accelerators, payment processors, hosting providers).

We are not responsible for:
• The availability or accuracy of external resources
• Changes made by those services
• Issues caused by their outages or rate limits


  1. Intellectual Property

BidHound, its design, branding, software, and content (excluding government-provided data) are owned by Fossil Technologies and protected under applicable laws.

You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or replicate our Service.



  1. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:
• BidHound is provided “as-is”
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the past 12 months

You use the Service at your own risk.


  1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BidHound and Fossil Technologies from any claims arising from your:
• Use of the Service
• Violation of these Terms
• Violation of laws or third-party rights



  1. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:
• You violate these Terms
• We detect abusive or unauthorized activity
• We discontinue the Service

Upon termination, your access ends immediately.



  1. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. If changes are significant, we’ll notify you by email or in-app.



  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
